China International Investment and Trade Fair (referred to as “CIFIT”) is approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China and is held in Xiamen, China from September 8th to 11th. With the theme of “bringing in” and “going out”, the CIFIT will “emphasize national and international, highlight investment negotiations and investment policy propaganda, highlight the coordinated development of the country’s regional economy, and highlight trade and economic exchanges with Taiwan”. It is the only international investment promotion activity in China that aims to promote two-way investment. It is also the world's largest investment exhibition certified by the International Exhibition Industry Association (UFI).
This year's CIFIT will be highlighted and will focus on designing and planning some major events around the implementation of the national strategy. As one of the major highlights, this year's conference will focus on the "Belt and Road", planning the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road East-West Intersection" activities, and will select a country in the Middle East as the "guest country". In addition, Xiamen is the largest area in Fujian's three major free trade zones. This year's CIFIT will also focus on the development of free trade zones, design forums for cross-border e-commerce, and even prepare to organize a number of well-known e-commerce companies. Set up exhibitions to explore the policy needs of promoting cross-border e-commerce.
