The 17th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention was grandly opened, attracting about 4,000 representatives from domestic and foreign companies. The theme of this World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention is "Planning a New Order, Creating a New Situation, a New Order for Hundreds of Chinese, Creating a New Situation", focusing on green economy, semiconductor development, ASEAN investment opportunities, etc. Indonesian Chinese Entrepreneur Association and the Indonesian business community attach great importance to the 17th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention held in a neighboring country. Therefore, through the call of the headquarters of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and its branches, a team of nearly 100 Indonesian Chinese business elites was organized. Led by Zhang Jinxiong, Chairman of Indonesian Chinese Entrepreneur Association, they participated in the Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention held from September 9 to 12. Indonesian Chinese business elites and 4,000 representatives from domestic and foreign companies attended the welcome dinner of the 17th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention on September 9, the opening ceremony of the Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention on September 10, and the international trade matchmaking meeting on September 11. Participate in 11 special discussions and forums, share insights on the industry, technology, innovation, sustainable development, etc. with top entrepreneurs, experts, and officials, and explore new global business opportunities.

The 17th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention is hosted by the Malaysian Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is held in KLCC, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
 
The welcome dinner of the 17th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention was held grandly, with many well-dressed people and celebrities gathered at the scene. At the welcome dinner, Tan Sri Lu Chengquan, President of the Malaysian Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 17th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention, Malaysian Minister of Transport Loke Siew Fook and Vice President of the China Overseas Friendship Association Chen Xiaojiang delivered speeches respectively.
The conference also arranged various cultural and singing and dancing performances to allow more than 4,000 guests and delegations from home and abroad to experience the charm of Malaysia's multicultural culture.
Entering the second day, Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar arrived at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center at about 9:30 this morning, and the 17th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention presided over the opening ceremony.
Datuk Seri Anwar praised Malaysian and global Chinese entrepreneurs for taking on the task of promoting our country and the international economy.
He said that despite uncertainty and unpredictability, these entrepreneurs have shown resilience.
Anwar said that Chinese entrepreneurs from Southeast Asia, the United States, Canada, Europe and Africa worked closely with other entrepreneurs to lay the foundation for deeper and stronger transnational business and economic connections.
He said that economic cooperation will ensure the security of supply chains and promote the global socio-economic development agenda.
Tan Sri Loh Cheng Chuan, president of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) and chairman of the organizing committee of the 17th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention, firmly believed that this Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention has established a strategic platform for Malaysia to connect with the Asia-Pacific region and the international market.
In his welcome speech, he pointed out that now is the best time for Malaysia to showcase the rich opportunities to global investors, based on the country's pragmatic economic policies, business-friendly ecosystem and investment environment.
He revealed that under the trend of geopolitical evolution, Malaysia still has advantages and appeal for foreign direct investment (FDI) seeking to diversify or restructure supply chains, making it an excellent location for new investment.
"Malaysia is actively promoting investment to prepare for a better future. Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Anwar, the government has formulated a number of national strategic plans and roadmaps to build Malaysia into a regional economic powerhouse.
"Economic reforms and key changes will drive Malaysia into a new stage of economic revitalization. With rich natural resources, diverse industries, diversified markets, high-quality products, and diverse languages, ethnic groups and cultures, Malaysia has demonstrated unique competitive advantages that enable us to stand out."
The theme of the 17th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention is "Planning a New Sequence, Creating a New Situation, A New Sequence of Hundreds of Chinese Entrepreneurs, Creating a New Situation", focusing on green economy, semiconductor development, ASEAN investment opportunities, etc. The theme will be tailored according to the current changes in business operations and global development trends.
The 17th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center for three consecutive days starting from Monday (9th). The theme of the conference is "Planning a New Sequence, Creating a New Situation, A New Sequence of Hundreds of Chinese Entrepreneurs, Creating a New Situation", focusing on green economy, semiconductor development, ASEAN investment opportunities, etc.
The theme of the fireside chat at the plenary session of the conference was "Working Together to Create". The moderator was Master Lee Xingyu, CEO of the Social and Economic Research Center of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM).
