By banning the export of nickel ore and promoting the development of the entire industrial chain, Indonesia has now become the world's second largest stainless steel producer; Indonesia's digital economy is also booming. As the largest e-commerce market in Southeast Asia, a group of local unicorn companies have grown into a new productivity for Indonesia's economic development.
Zhang Jinxiong said that as the largest economy in ASEAN and the fourth most populous country in the world, last year, China successfully promoted the full entry into force of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), injecting new momentum into regional integration. At the beginning of this year, Indonesia officially joined the BRICS cooperation mechanism, which further demonstrated Indonesia's responsibility as an important member of the "Global South".
The friendly relations between Indonesia and China are now at their best in history. The "Belt and Road" initiative is highly consistent with Indonesia's concept of "Global Ocean Fulcrum". The cooperation between the two countries is becoming increasingly close. China has been Indonesia's largest trading partner for many consecutive years and is also one of Indonesia's most important sources of foreign investment.
Zhang Jinxiong pointed out that the cooperation between Sichuan and Indonesia has always been at the forefront of China's local provinces' cooperation with Indonesia. We are pleased to see that whether it is economic and trade cooperation, the total import and export volume of the two sides has increased significantly, and many Sichuan companies have successfully invested in Indonesia; or cultural exchanges, exchanges and cooperation between universities in the two places, Sichuan and Indonesia are each other's popular tourist destinations, etc., more and more sharing and cooperation, continue to write a new chapter in the friendship between India and China!
